Agile tool completes beta testing

From: PRLeap

After a year of beta testing and development, AgileTrack Software released its first production version of the AgileTrack application. AgileTrack is a software development and project management tool that allows programmers to apply agile development techniques in their projects.

AgileTrack allows the use of agile methodologies, such as Extreme Programming and Scrum, in software development teams. The tool is a Java application that provides a rich GUI interface.

“AgileTrack has been a great asset in our software planning and development process,” said David Stevenson, President of FamilyAnywhere.com. “While we’ve used it, we’ve managed to stay focused on unit testing and verification of our tasks. We’ve seen great improvements in the quality of our releases.”

The AgileTrack project commenced as an open-source project in June of 2005. The tool was first made available for beta testing in January of 2006. It reached the Version 1.0 milestone after a year of public testing and continued development. Testing involved users from over two dozen countries throughout the world.
